Summary.

Endometrium was obtained from cattle slaughtered at various stages of early pregnancy and of the oestrous cycle. Analyses for protein, RNA, DNA, glucose and some lysosomal enzymes were carried out on this tissue. The results are considered with respect to the general influence of the hormonal status of pregnancy and the specific influence of the blastocyst in one uterine horn.
