Summary. Progesterone concentrations in peripheral plasma samples on Days 7 and 11 of oestrous cycles throughout the breeding season showed a negative relationship to the mean minimum environmental temperature for the Days 0–7 and 0–11 respectively of that cycle during which the samples were collected.
